Precisely-defined actual requirements of forwarding companies have become the premise for the development of a system that brings specific measurable benefits and often succeeds in meeting some highly customized requirements as regards the protection of transported cargo.

SAFEGUARD24 is aimed at companies that transport goods requiring increased control and security measures (high risk of theft) and/or products which must be transported in strictly defined temperature conditions. The solution ensures comprehensive security and control over the transported cargo, as well as the safety of the team manning the transport. The ESNTB offer also comprises the services of the SAFEGUARD24 Monitoring Centre, which can conduct remote supervision over cargo. In the event of an emergency, the Centre contacts directly a professional security company that operates in Europe, the police, medical and road assistance.

System use

The system is designed for local locking, remote unlocking, supervision and global positioning of cargo space. It can be used in semitrailer vans for heavy cargo transportation (with and without generators) and other heavy transport vehicles, or rooms and spaces with fixed infrastructure. The system is independent of tractors.

Technology

SAFEGUARD24 products and services have been developed based on the analysis of the needs specified by our Clients and of random events reported by them. The latest security and monitoring technologies have been employed.

The cargo space locking mechanism is an electromechanical subsystem, managed and monitored by the central management module ? a component of the electronic subsystem. It is characterized by high resistance to break-in attempts and protection against unauthorized access. High-quality execution and the most advanced components guarantee longevity and reliability. The mechanism is made of stainless steel. Its long-term durability and many-year infallibility have been proved by laboratory tests.

The electronic subsystem consists of the central management module and the touch-sensitive keyboard module. The central management module controls the operation of all the remaining system elements. The electronic subsystem uses the global GPS technology that receives radio signals from 24 satellites, and GPRS/SMS technology that allows for communication and transmission of very precise data on the location of, and sensor readings at, the monitored site.

The system is available in two versions: SAFEGUARD24 Lokal, SAFEGUARD24 Standard and SAFEGUARD24 Premium.
